I'm A Blogger?

Hi, I'm Christine. I'm a non-traditional student having much more fun going to school this time around than I did the first time. Last time, I was a piano performance major, this time, I'm studying math. Last time I quit after the first year, this time, I'm in my third year and probably have that many more years to go since I'm a part time student. On those rare occasions that I have free time, I enjoy golfing. It seems as though that free time will now be taken up by blogging.

On more than one occasion, I've been told I know just enough about computers to be dangerous. Learning about and setting up this blog was no exception. I snooped around all the tabs, gadgets and widgets, filled out my profile, played with color and fonts. What I was unable to do was POST something to my blog. I felt kind of silly having to ask my daughter for help at 7:00 this morning. She thought it was hilarious. Needless to say, I don't have any tips or shortcuts to offer at this time. But I have every intention of learning this useful bit of technology because #1, I love computers and #2, I love to write. I'm a little excited that a few of you will be forced to read what I have to say and I hope you'll find it worthwhile, lol.

I will post more later. Right now, I have a hair appointment.

Enjoy the picture of my husband and myself, along with our friends Tom and Joan, with whom we spent this past weekend golfing.

  1. Thats great that you have been married for 25 years. My parents have been married for 23 years. I love when people make their marriages work. I just recently got engaged and I hope that I will have a long, happy marriage

  2. Christine. I too went 'back' to school after working for a while. For me it was a totally different experience. I loved it both times but in different ways.
Sounds like you have a wonderful family and that you are enjoying the blogging! GREAT!

  3. Congratulations on going back to school, it’s hard to force your self back when you have to start from the beginning aging. My sister talks about it all the time but has yet to actually try. Personally I think golfing is a boring pass time, but to each their own. I’m happy to hear you had a daughter to help you set up your blog. It toke me a few to find out how to find our class mate blogs, I was searching for them on blogger.com lol.

  4. Hi Christine. You certainly sound busy but I think its great that you are working in school again. I'm doing the same thing right now. I loved school (everything but the classes) the first time round but got through and this time I love the classes as well. I look forward to reading your posts so post away!

  5. Christine, I definitely give you a lot of credit for going back to school! I certainly do not know that I could come back and I have always had a lot of respect for the people who come back! Thats great that you are good with technology because I certainly am not! But I'm excited to read more of your blogs to come!
