I was really out of my comfort zone on this assignment. I do consider myself proficient on a computer but podcasting was not my favorite thing to do. Thank goodness for Yodio. It was extremely user friendly and although I found podcasting to be stressful to me, Yodio took the edge off, lol. It was very easy to do what needed to be done with very little instruction. When I found myself struggling, I found the help I needed with a great deal of ease. I think I'll look forward to the next emerging technology assignment with a little less stress...at least I hope so, lol. Enjoy the long weekend!

Very interesting podcast, christine! It's really cool that you were able to get a job at Plainfield and that's what got you interested in math again! I'm jealous that you figured out how to embed your yodio in your post; I spend quite a long time trying to get that to work, and I finally just had to give up! lol

ReplyDeleteIf you had not stated that you were nervous above, I never would have noticed through your podcast because you have a terrific product. Well done! I second Taylor's comment about embedding the cast directly into the blog. I was having troubles getting it to work on my blog so I just went for the link for times sake. ReplyDeleteConfession time. It was my daughter who found the button to embed it into my blog. It didn't work the first time but it did the second. Also, since the podcast posted separately from the text, I edited the podcast post and inserted the text, then deleted the solo text post. Here's the funny part... I was all upset that it posted directly into the blog because I wanted mine to be like everyone elses, lol.

I was happy to see someone had figured out how to post directly to the blog because I know I couldn't figure it out..lol..hope you had a good memorial weekend.
